09/18/1964 – Old Dominion Speedway, Manassas, VA – Worth McMillion gets his last top-10 of 1964 (one of 6 for the season, his single-season career best) with a 7th place finish in his self-owned 1962 Pontiac at Old Dominion’s .375 mile short track.

1964 was indicative of Pontiac’s previous year’s withdrawal from NASCAR with McMillion piloting the field’s only Pontiac (a 1962 model that was basically a ‘left-over’ from the higher-rung teams who had to switch manufacturers to continue factory support).
